Following are a few of the projects we have successfully carried out in the past that contributed to a further developement of our clients business activity. MEPA PROGRAM
Project of infrastructure improvement for the Police of Angola
This project comprised the reorganisation, training and equipment of the new Angola National Police, as well as all necessary preparations for the visit to Angola in 1992 of His Holiness Pope John Paul II.
Integral development of the project, which spanned 5 years (from 1991 to 1996). During this period full and specialised training was provided for all officers of Police, up to a total of 200 Angolan authorities, agents and warrant officers. Also a full course on self-esteem and self-image improvement before the civil population was imparted among these officers and agents.
The entire team was provided with state-of-the-art police equipment, including weapons, vehicles, uniforms and special groups equipment as well, such as anti-riot police, traffic, escorts, etc.
The program also included specialised training for archive management, control and issuing of driver's licences and Angola Transit Police training. This program also managed the financing and the signature of agreements required between Angola and the Spanish Ministry of Internal Affairs.
As the culminating point of the project special mention deserve the security that surrounded the visit of Pope John Paul II, which implied the use of the best units and an exhaustive logistic deployment, going from the use of the "Popemobile", arranging catering for all local Police units in service and the smooth running of the entire security system used.
DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT PROJECT
National Library of El Cairo
Handling and protection of documents in the National Library of El Cairo in order to guarantee the preservation and safe diffusion of their documentary and bibliographical heritage.
Storing on analogical support of this historical and bibliographical documents using means that guarantee their survival and preservation for a period of more than 500 years and that allow for their use in digital format.
Creation of a structure that allows compatibility between analogical and digital systems as a means of digitalizing or microfilming any document or archive for a period of time.
CIVIL PROTECTION
Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Venezuela
Furnishing and instalment of equipment necessary to fight all natural disasters common in this region, such as water treatment plants, uniforms, Tetra communication systems, quick response vehicles, first aid medical services, etc., as well as the necessary training for their correct use.
UNIVERSITY TRAINING PROGRAM

Development, supply and instalment of a complete University training program for the University of Mauritius, funded by the European Union.
UNIVERSITY OF YEREVAN LIBRARY
Armenia
Design of systems engineering, supply of equipment and furniture for the University of Yerevan Library, with funding provided by the Gulbenkian Foundation.
SCHOOLING CENTRE PROJECT
Ministry of Education of Angola
Design, supply and set up of eleven primary education schools as a part of the post-civil war program of education improvement in Angola. This project comprised also the transportation of all construction materials, machinery and vehicles needed for its completion. Workforce was fully provided by the State-funded Society Tecnogiron U.E.M.
RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS EQUIPMENT
Police of Cuba
With the goal of integrating a receptor GPS system to the professional radiocommunication Teltronic system (protocol trunking MPT 1327) within the Police Corps of Cuba, EKINSA developed a study of their communication and vehicle motorization needs.
The system that was finally proposed allows the monitorization of location, speed and several other parameters that give out information on the units progress. This new system was integrated within the already existing system.
Additionally, mobile radio communication gear were distributed in order to implement the new system on motorcycles, allowing for communication even when working under extreme conditions.
Finally, courses were organised to give out training to both users and the technical personnel that would be ultimately responsible for post-sale maintenance, guaranteeing thus the proper use of these new systems.
PROFESSIONAL RADIOCOMMUNICATIONS SYSTEM
National Railway Network of Cuba
Analysis and design of a conventional mobile communication system for professional use for the Railway System of Cuba.
Special system that guarantees a communication between train and control station for the entire length of a journey, even in zones with a low reception signal, through tunnels, in humid conditions, noise, vibration, etc.
INTEGRAL EDUCATIONAL PROJECT
Polytechnic School of Cuba
Design of a Physics laboratory for the Polytechnic School of Cuba, providing both material and human resources that allow the study program to be developed in the School.
Supply and instalment of all necessary furniture, technological systems and educational material.

Historical Archives Preservation
Integral handling systems for digitalisation and microfilming of historical archives in Casablanca, Algeria, Lima, Havana, Manila, Tetuan, etc. Creation of the necessary infrastructures that allow continuous work.
